A native of Charleston, David earned his undergraduate degree in Organ Performance from Louisiana State University, which he attended on full scholarship. He obtained his law degree from the Charleston School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Charleston Law Review.
Before joining Sanders Law Firm, LLC, David served as an Assistant Public Defender and as an Assistant Solicitor for Charleston County, where he prosecuted primarily violent felonies. As an Assistant Solicitor and Public Defender, David spent much of his practice in the courtroom. As a prosecutor, he tried a wide range of criminal cases—running the gamut from assault charges to complex traffic fatality charges to murder—to verdict. David practices in the areas of Civil and Criminal Litigation.
He lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife, two daughters, and three dogs.
